Looking for plays for a gay-oriented theater audience?
The "Off-the-Wall" comedies have the potential to be wild, campy fun. With actors cross-dressing in roles, the over-the-top nature of these pieces is a natural.  I especially encourage you to look at Drac in the Saddle Again & The Mambo Girl.

In addition, the "Mature-Theme" plays listed on the right are specifically gay romantic comedies.  With the author being a bit of a starry-eyed romantic, these plays attempt to show gays in day to day life - no fighting prejudices, no dealing with gay bashing, no disease.  How about just a good “date movie” that sends you out into the lobby with a smile and holding hands?
